Our Mission

We are Adelante II

Our Spanish Dual Language Immersion (DLI) program provides an opportunity for all students to achieve high levels of bilingual proficiency and develop multicultural competency through rigorous English and Spanish dual language immersion instruction.  At Adelante II we teach to change the world - cambiaremos el mundo.

90:10 Model of Immersion

Our 90:10 Immersion Model gives 90% of instruction in Spanish and 10% in English with English portion increasing over the years.

Parent Engagement

Parents are Key to Our Culture

We offer various opportunities for parents to volunteer in and out of the classroom with events like Fun Friday, "La Posada", and "Leyendo bajo las estrellas" (Reading Under the Stars).

Among our range of expanded learning programs and student clubs and activities are after-school sports like Cross Country, Basketball, Volleyball, and soccer, and clubs like Lego Club, ASB, and Little Heroes sports program.

We offer Visual and Performing Arts that  integrate the arts into curriculum and regularly showcases students’ creativity. Among our the program offerings at Adelante II are: ARUSD Mariachi, Folklorico, and School Band.
