Adelante II Dual Language Academy is a competitive school of choice, that offers many extracurricular activities, such as folklorico, interscholastic sports, and a full music program, including mariachi.      Back-to-School Night is usually held within the first month of the school year. It provides a great time to receive valuable information from your student's teachers about what to expect in the year ahead. It is a great time to get to know the teacher, their classrooms, and the expectations that will extend to home.

 

     Every year, we host an evening event where everyone is encouraged to Read Under the Stars! Tents are put out for students to sit in and read books, either with their friends or their family. Teachers also participate by claiming tents for students to circle to and listen to the wonderful books chosen.

Showcasing Our Learning

Adelante II presenta el programa Teatro de Lectura que muestra los talentos actorales de nuestros estudiantes. Todos los grados desde kindergarten hasta octavo presentan escenas de un libro, promoviendo una relación positiva con la lectura al permitir que los estudiantes, junto con sus padres, participen en la lectura en el escenario frente a múltiples grupos de estudiantes.

Adelante II hosts the Teatro de Lectura program that showcases the acting talents of our students. All grades kindergarten through eighth feature scenes from a book, promoting a positive relationship with reading by allowing students, along with their parents, to participate in reading on stage in front of multiple groups of students.
