Room Parents

A Room Parent is a dedicated volunteer who helps out in their child’s classroom to support the teacher, thus being a a valuable asset to our school. Room Parents help with classroom events and facilitating communication between the teacher and the rest of the parents in the class. Room Parents play a vital role in organizing classroom events, coordinating volunteers, enhancing the educational experience for our students and playing a key role in strengthening the classroom community. Taking on the role helps parents feel more connected to the school, whether they are helping within the classroom or out. Each classroom strives to have 2-3 Room Parents, but Room Parents strive from all parents/families as volunteers to assist.
